#ecmeetup venue: The Boma, Port Elizabeth

The date has been set, the venue is booked and the guest speakers are a-prepping for our very first, annual, Eastern Cape bloggers meet up. The long-awaited #ecmeetup will take place on Saturday, May 14th at The Boma in Port Elizabeth. The #ecmeetup venue is a beautiful, safari-style country restaurant and wedding venue that is best described as magical!

The venue was so graciously sponsored to us by Sarah Dirsuwei, owner of The Boma and The Plantation wedding venues, in Port Elizabeth. On JustEllaBella today, Elle introduces Sarah – an avid blogger who has already left quite a mark in the local blogging community with her space, Chasing The Rainbow.

I am convinced that it is this beautiful motto of “chasing the rainbow”  and the Dirsuwei’s heart for spreading positivity that makes The Boma nothing short of enchanting!  The family’s sense of adventure is at the very core of this majestic location. The venue is surrounded by a spectacular country forest, which encompasses a whimsical forest courtyard that is able to seat up to 140 guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant, surrounded by the sights and sounds of South Africa’s beautiful, natural environment. Oh and the food is super delish!

Sarah and The Boma team will be running a very exciting giveaway on the day of the event. Our #ecmeetup guests are in for a treat!
