Schnooky Pie Girls Summer 17: Pretty and Practical!

I love that my only daughter is the girliest girl in all the land! She’s like, a proper girly girl. She wears my high heels and jewelry around the house and asks for lipstick and make up. I mean, who chooses to wear heels, at home, for fun?! This girl does. She was especially overjoyed the other day when we opened a beautiful parcel from Jaclyn of Schnooky Pie. Guys, the summer collection is nothing short of delicious! Twirly skirts, lace, jumpsuits andpretty prints… something for everyone! Of corse, we just HAD to have a mini modeling show, with Miss Kari as the star. She adored this black and charcoal peplum lace dress!

She basically told me (over and over) that she is “just like a pwincess” and please can she wear this to her pwincess birthday party? (yep, still haven’t started planning it.) After the fashion show was over, Miss Kari refused to take the dress off. She kept reminding me that she “looks so pweddy”. And right she was.

I love that this peplum dress has a girly element to it, with the gorgeous lace detail, but that it still allows for movement and free play. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the kid loves to dress up. But she is also an avid swing-er and slide-er and ball kicker.
