Mani Monday with Essence: Holostripes
It’s another Monday and another chance to show you a sweeeeet Mani Monday Essence manicure!
Last weeks color, ‘Hope for love‘, is hard to shake if you’re a girly girl like I am. I mean, I would paint my nails this pretty pink like all day, errrrday.
So with that said, do I even need a reason why I decided to go with this polish again this week? I decided to pair it up with the totally legit Essence Holo Stripes nail art stickers.
The stickers are really easy to work with and come in a pack of 3: rose gold, silver and a lovely dark pink. I could give you a complex algorithm explaining how you would use these holo stripes to make your mani fabulous! But truth be told, it’s so darn easy, I can’t even brag about it!
Simple apply your paint of choice to your nail (don’t forget that you need a base coat first!). Once set, you can begin to measure out and cut your holostripes.
My method requires no previous formal education: Simply apply to your nail and trim the edges. Apply top coat and finished! Don’t forget to make sure your top coat covers the ends of the holo stripes, to prevent peeling.
I know, right? Where has it been all our lives?! Exactly.
What is your favorite thing about this mani? Would you try this at home?
Oh and don’t forget about the awesome Women’s Month giveaway happening around these here parts. Essence is giving one of my readers a legit Women’s Month gift. Think pink polish, nail art, unicorns, fluffy clouds and rainbows!
To enter, simple fill out a Rafflecopter (there’s one at the end of each Mani Monday post, but only complete ONE). To gain extra points, leave a comment on each Mani Monday post. Ta daaaa!
