How to DIY festive nail art with Essence {And a major giveaway for you!}

Essence giveawaySo it’s a couple of days before Christmas and everyone’s feeling pretty merry ’round about these parts. I decided to get you guys in on the action too with this really easy DIY festive nail art tut. Oh and while you’re at it, you should totally enter the most amazing Essence giveaway the world has ever seen! (I may be exaggerating a tad bit).

But before I chat about the giveaway, a bit more about the festive nail art tutorial: I love that Essence has a product for every season. This years Essence advent calendar housed the totally adorbs trend edition Essence ‘Good Girl’ nail art stickers. DIY festive nail art

These very festive nail stickers are the highlight of my DIY festive nail art mani today and they really make doing your nails at home so easy (without it looking tacky, because who has time for that?)

I applied my base coat (the Essence All In One – still impressed with this!) and then 2 layers of baby pink #75 Dreaming of Love. I then pulled out an old favorite: Essence The Pastels trend edition #13 Ice To Meet You. Remember I featured this paint over here, the other time.

I applied the icy white to a sponge (think: the type that you would wash your dishes with) and dabbed it on to the tips of my pink mani. Instant snow covered finger tips!DIY festive nail art

Once this was dry, I simply applied my Essence trend edition ‘Good Girl’ nail art stickers and added a top coat to keep it in place. Ta daaaaa! I mean, really, it’s Summer. Aint nobody got time to sit around doing nails. There is swimming to be done (and children to feed, let’s keep it real). What do you think? Would you try this 15 minute mani at home this Summer?
