Tea time with my toddler is a Koppie Boeretroos! {Review}

Last week was back to reality for many of us but thanks to Elizna from Koppie Boeretroos the feeling of meh was greatly decreased when I received a bee-oo-ti-ful package in the mail!

Elizna runs graphic design and illustration studio, Letter Chef, from home and was recently inspired to start designing babycino – aka cups and saucers for babes! The little business was dreamt up after this mom of two spent endless hours playing tea party with her toddler. She explains that these daily teaparties posed a time management problem (especially when you’re a WAHM), for example: The tea bag was too big to fit into the teeny tiny baby cups oh and do you know how often one has to refill these teeny tiny baby cups? Quite alot, apparently 🙂 But you can read more about their sweet story over on the Letter Chef blog.

I’m a sucker for beautifully wrapped boxes and this one totally stole my heart! I was like, uhhh do I HAVE to open it?! That feeling soon passed, because hello…

Anyways, what I found inside is best described in pics:

I had requested that my curly girl’s little cup and saucer set be decorated in pink (is there any other color?!) with her name on it and a little ballerina figurine. I also asked Elizna to add some music notes in there. She did an amazing job!

The artistry is impeccable without being too “perfect” – it is perfectly personal, which is what Elizna is going for, I’m sure.
I am looking forward to playing tea party with my girl! How exciting for her to have her very own tea cup and saucer! If you’d like to get hold of Elizna, you can drop her an email or check out her Facebook page. I would imagine that this would make for a really sweet and unique birthday gift. How about a mom and daughter matching set? The possibilities are endless!
